Omaha, NE - From blood donating to blood loss, many times over, an Omaha man seemingly cheats death, not once but four times.
"All of these conditions were life threatening. Not only the gun shot wound, but the second bursting I nearly bled to death, the third one I nearly bled to death, and the fourth one I nearly bled to death," says Tim McCormick.
That's right, the West Omaha man nearly bled to death four times. He busted his femoral artery, which can kill a man in minutes. It started back in 2002 when Tim McCormick was shot by robbers. The artery would burst that night and three other times. While he lost enough blood to kill him, paramedics kept him alive everytime.
Today, McCormick is doing much better, it's been more than two years since he's seen the hospital. By the way, he's also survived bypass surgery.
