NORTH BEND, Neb. (AP) - Dozens of firefighters are working to put out a blaze that's engulfed several buildings in North Bend's business district.
As of early Monday evening, no injuries have been reported.
Crews were called to the scene around 2 p.m. Monday after several people reported smelling smoke and seeing flames coming from a hair salon. The blaze spread to multiple buildings that house the North Bend Eagle newspaper, a bar, a welding business and a massage therapy business.
Smoke could be seen from several miles away.
Fire departments from North Bend, Wahoo, Fremont and Cedar Bluffs were at the scene.
North Bend is about 40 miles northwest of Omaha.
