YORK, Neb. (AP) - York County officials have identified the two people killed Wednesday night in a crash on Interstate 80.
York County Attorney Timothy Sieh said Thursday that Roger Kruger of Elkhorn and Adam Hansen of Blair were killed in the accident near York Wednesday evening.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
The Omaha Fire officials say Kruger was an 11-year veteran and a captain in the department. Kruger was off duty at the time of the crash.
At least six people have died in Nebraska car accidents on I-80 this week as a major winter storm moves across the state.
