
Wahoo, NE - Severe weather is blamed for a deadly crash on Monday night. The Saunders County Sheriff tells Action 3 News, a semi truck hit a patch of ice and slammed into two other vehicles.
It happened about two miles east of Wahoo when a semi slid out of control on Highway 92. Paramedics found four victims at the scene. One of the victims died. We're told the victim is a 37-year-old man. Three other people were treated and released from the hospital. So far, investigators have not released the victim's identity.
Not long after this accident, two other cars collided near the same spot. The Sheriff shut down Highway 92 between Mead and Wahoo.
