LEXINGTON, Neb. (AP) - A Holdrege woman has pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges for her part in a 2008 murder in rural Lexington.

Thirty-year-old P.J. Stapleton entered the pleas to charges of false reporting and obstructing a police officer on Friday as part of a deal with prosecutors. She's agreed to testify against 26-year-old Jake Johannsen.

Johannsen is charged with second-degree murder and use of a deadly weapon in the death of Rodney A. Marshall.

The body of 49-year-old Marshall was found March 23, 2008, about seven miles northwest of Lexington.
