OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A Bellevue man has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for receiving and distributing child pornography.
A news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Omaha says 34-year-old Jeremy Flemke was sentenced Monday. He also must serve five years of supervised release after he finishes his prison term.
According to the release, the Nebraska State Patrol came across Flemke in January while investigating people using a file-sharing program to distribute and receive child pornography.
A search of Flemke's home in March found more than 800 videos and thousands of photos of child pornography.
Flemke pleaded guilty to the felony charges in July, after striking a deal with prosecutors.
