Neb. man charged with impersonating police officer

HASTINGS, Neb. (AP) - Charges have been filed against a Clay Center man suspected of pretending to be a police officer to steal pain medications.

Hastings police say 38-year-old Anthony Campbell was arrested Monday and charged with impersonating a police officer, possession of a narcotic drug and theft. He's being held at the Adams County jail.

Police say Campbell entered an elderly woman's home and took her medication.
