SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) - Western Nebraska Community College is Scottsbluff is losing its men's basketball coach of 2 years.
Cougars coach Brian Joyce has resigned to become an assistant at NCAA Division I Liberty University in Virginia.
Joyce was an assistant at Colorado State under new Liberty head coach Dale Layer.
Joyce says it was a hard decision to leave the Cougars, but that he couldn't pass up the chance to move up to a Division I program and work again with Layer.
Joyce led the Cougars to a 25-7 record this past season.
