Saunders County, Neb., crash fatality identified

WAHOO, Neb. (AP) - Saunders County authorities have released the name of an eastern Nebraska man who died after his vehicle collided with a semitrailer on an icy state highway.

The Saunders County Sheriff's Department identified him as 37-year-old Mark Wagner of rural Wahoo.

Deputies say a tractor-trailer hit a patch of ice on state Highway 92 Monday evening and went out of control, ramming Wagner's vehicle. Two other vehicles then plowed into the wreck.

At least two other people were injured, including the truck driver.
