Waverly, NE - Shannon Kramer admits she smokes weed but is not happy that her 15-year-old daughter went to school on Wednesday and told on her. "Yes I do. Yes I do smoke it in my home. No, I do not smoke it around her," says Kramer.
The Waverly High School principal told the Lancaster County Sheriff's Department, and then deputies made a visit to Kramer's apartment. Investigators say they found drug paraphernalia and a gram of marijuana.
Kramer was cited for misdemeanor drug possession and child neglect. Kramer tells Action 3 News she is a good single parent to her three young children. She claims they have behavioral issues and says she smokes to help her deal with it. She also says she will stop if it will keep her kids from being taken away from her.
