Omaha, NE - An Omaha man dies at the hospital after his motorcycle crashed into a car. It happened just after 8:15 p.m. Saturday night at 16th and Spencer.
36-year-old Robert A. Jones was riding his motorcyle, heading north on 16th Street when a car in front of him made a U-turn. The motorcycle collided with the driver's side of the car and caught fire. Jones was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. Police say he was wearing a helmet.
A passenger in the car was treated for minor injuries. No one else was hurt.
Police are investigating if speed and alcohol played a role in the crash.
