Omaha, NE - Hypnosis and acupuncture. Two words with one result.
Dr. Kirby McGill: "It requires a persons full cooperation and willingness to make a change."
Dr. Kirby McGill is a hypnotist, therapist, mentalist and an entertainer. He has more than 30 years experience and tells Action 3 News he has seen it all. Even past life regressions.
Dr. Kirby McGill: "It depends on a person's belief system. If their belief system is that they have a problem and it was caused by a past life experience then you work with that information. That's material that you work with. You don't try to prove it or disprove it. You just say that's your belief system. Let's reframe it into something positive."
But Dr. McGill warns there are misconceptions about hypnosis. That's what he's trying to change.
Dr. Kirby McGill: "People come in everyday to my office and about 40 minutes of the session is explaining the process and disproving all the different beliefs about it and what it is and what it isn't and all of that. That's the biggest percentage of the session. Just getting them to understand what's going on."
And what's going on, Dr. McGill says is a way to "achieve your full potential."
