EX-REPUBLICAN WON'T COMMIT
It started as a simple question to both Scott Kleeb and Tony Raimondo, but Raimondo's answer, well that's why they call it news.
JORDAN: If you don't win will you support Raimondo in the fall?
KLEEB: We need to have a united party. So I would extend my congratulations to him and I would be sure to vote for him, and I hope that he would do the same for me.
JORDAN: "If you don't win will you support Scott Kleeb in the fall?
RAIMONDO: I'll go through endorsements after that, I'm really focused on winning.
That's right Raimondo, who up until five months ago had been a life-long Republican, is not promising Democratic party unity.
JORDAN: They (Obama and Clinton) always say yes, you're not saying yes.
RAIMONDO: No I'm not saying yes because I think that's so much political rhetoric, that they say the right thing. I'm gonna say the candid thing, I'll think about that later."
JORDAN: "He (Raimondo) didn't say yes and he didn't say no.
KLEEB: Makes you wonder doesn't it, makes you wonder.
JORDAN: What does it make you wonder?
KLEEB: Well it just makes me wonder.... AFTER A FEW MORE SECONDS....
Well I won't put that on tape.
At least one top Omaha Democrat tells me Raimondo's comment, "Is about the dumbest thing you could say."
