On sale and going fast, single-game tickets to the Omaha Royals final baseball season at Rosenblatt stadium go on sale Saturday. "This has been apart of my childhood and into my adult years, I just want to be apart of this last season and I hate to see it go," said Royals fan, Bernie Tobin.
People anxious for baseball season to begin bring their kids for face painting and even a bit of batting practice. It's the love of the game, other baseball fans can't get enough of. "It's long as I can see a baseball game I don't care where it's played really," said Royals fan, Michael Powell.
Others say the last game of the season will go down in Omaha's history books. "We bought tickets for Opening Day and the last day, wanted them last tickets," said Royals fan, Jan Stonebraker.
Out of all 72 home games, the very last one at Rosenblatt is the one that's selling the most tickets. "To see that last game at this stadium will really be something. It really will," said Powell.
Action 3 News found a wife, who's husband drags her along to nearly every game, still finds many ways to enjoy Rosenblatt. "I must admit I'm more into watching the people and eating the hotdogs than into the baseball game but I cheer when somebody wins," said Royals fan, Cecilia Powell.
