Omaha, NE - Pastors and school officials met at Pilgrim Baptist Church and in front of a packed house they denounced gun violence in their communities and schools. Spiritual leaders told the congregation about a 10 point plan to stop the violence. Everyone who came was given the plan on paper. It included ways to help get a child out of a gang. It also gives information about where gun violence victims can get support and where people getting out of jail can go to re-connect with the community.
Pastors are calling on everyone who knows the plan and hears their message to spread the word about this plan and put it in action. Their hope is that generations of children to come can live out their lives in peace.
