Lincoln, NE - A Lincoln man is charged with animal cruelty for putting his roommate's cat in a washing machine. Police say 22-year-old Richard Andersen recorded the abuse with the cell phone. They say the video gave them the proof they needed to make the arrest. The cat is okay and is back with her owner. Andersen will be back in court on February 16th. He faces up to a year in jail.
