A fight of $10 sends two men to the hospital with bullet wounds. Two men are wounded, one critically, during a Thanksgiving night shooting at 30th and Dodge. Police responded to the BP Gas Station there just before 11:30pm Thursday to find evidence of a shooting, but no victims. The men had been taken the Creighton University Medical Center in a private vehicle.
Both had been shot in the parking lot after some sort of argument there. Although the exact circumstances are unclear, police believe both men were shot from a moving vehicle after someone involved in the argument attempted to leave.
20-year-old Daniel Zamudio of 2416 South 16th St. is in critical condition, although he is expected to survive his wounds. 30-year-old Pablo Vazquez 3910 Burdette St.was also wounded but his injuries are not life threatening.
Police say they are looking for two black men but don't have any more details at this time.
