LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The Nebraska State Patrol is identifying a 38-year-old semitrailer driver from Manitoba, Canada, as the person killed in a three-vehicle crash on a southeast Nebraska highway.

The patrol says Vladymyr Kuziv died at the scene of Thursday's crash near Bruning.

A propane tanker was eastbound on state Highway 4 when it tried to cross the northbound lane of U.S. Highway 81. Kuziv was southbound and struck the tanker. A southbound car then hit his semitrailer.

The woman in the car, 41-year-old Kimberly Wills of St. Edward, has been hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver of the tanker, 29-year-old Joel Voss of Bruning, was not injured.

Troopers reported heavy fog and low visibility in the area at the time of the crash. An investigation continues.
