Huskers Move Outside For Practice

The Nebraska football team practiced for two hours inside Memorial Stadium Thursday afternoon. Head Coach Bo Pelini said the Huskers finished up the week with a good effort in preparation for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, who come to town this weekend for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff.

Pelini said Nebraska will be challenged by the Tech defense.

"They play hard. They're not real fancy. They have a lot of guys back from last year, especially on the front," Pelini said. "They're aggressive. They play with a good attitude. I like the way they play on defense."

Pelini also said the Huskers are in great shape healthwise, and fans can expect to see a committee of players at running back on Saturday to make up for the loss of freshman Rex Burkhead.

"We got a lot of guys reps this week and we feel good about that group," Pelini said.
