Omaha, NE:  As you read this, chances are good George Clooney is filming a movie right here in Omaha. Some have spotted the star and others are searching for a sneak peak. Action 3 News set out to speak to the star hunters and found them with cameras in their hands ready to snap a photo.

Tuesday's setting sun over Omaha didn't dim some people's hopes to get a glimpse of a star. Mary Mollner walks down 11th and Howard in the heart of the Old Market.  She says she's ready to see George, "He's here in town and I hope I run into him."

One of Hollywood's hottest hunks, George Clooney began a long day of filming at Omaha's Eppley Airport.  Action 3 News cameras capture the production crew wheeling lights and carts of equipment inside the airport, preparing to begin shooting the scene.  While the story line is being kept pretty quiet, even the best kept secret gets around. Monica Roberts owns the store ETC. in the Old Market.  She tells us producers filled her in on the plot while scoping out the Old Market to film.  She says,  "I know that he's a head hunter and he's trying to accumulate a million frequent flyer miles."

Back at the airport, Gina Rodricks and her eight year-old daughter, Hannah, tell us they never expected to bump into Clooney while dropping off a relative. "We were as close as you are to me," she begins.  "We said 'hi!' to him, but we didn't really shake hands."  The mom and daughter duo aren't complaining about the confusion at the airport. They even stopped to watch him shoot a scene with a fellow co-star.  Gina says they watched Clooney unpack another co-star's suitcase, "He put a pillow in the trash & her hair dryer. He said 'You know, you don't need this hair dryer. You get it in the airport so why do you need to carry it?'"

After wrapping at the airport, Clooney will begin filming in the Old Market.  Buzz on the street is his character, whose name is Ryan Bingham, lives in an apartment at 11th and Howard. Tuesday afternoon crews piece together equipment to film.  Spectators tell us the crew even stripped leaves off trees to set a winter scene.  Production will begin in the Old Market Wednesday morning.  Omaha Police tell us officers will be working to control crowds from 8:30 in the morning until 10 at night.  Vehicle traffic will be re-routed but pedestrians will be allowed.
